The most ancient olive oil in the world
LùD’oliva is an oil that evokes Noto, the quintessential Baroque city: rich, complex, authentic, and deeply rooted. It offers fresh, fruity notes, followed by subtle hints of fresh grass, almond, and wildflowers, with a lingering finish that recalls the untamed beauty of the Mediterranean.

The oldest olive oil in its essence
LùD’oliva is deeply rooted in the world’s oldest olive oil tradition. Archaeological discoveries near Castelluccio di Noto have uncovered terracotta containers dating back 4,000 years, a testament to an ancient bond with the olive tree.

The Bonaccorsi family
Today, the Bonaccorsi family passionately carries on this legacy, cultivating hectares of olive groves and passing down olive oil traditions from generation to generation, always with an eye on the future. Organic farming and respect for biodiversity are at the heart of LùD’oliva’s philosophy, minimizing environmental impact.

Castelluccio: our origins
“To get here from Catania back then, you had to drive for four hours along country roads. Noto, Modica, and Scicli were not the destinations we know today—at the bars, you would still find only men wearing flat caps. There wasn’t even water here; they only grew almond trees, which thrive even in the driest soils. It was only in 1999, when my youngest son Luchino was born, that we discovered a well on the farm. It became Pozzo Luchino, and from then on, this hill became fertile, yielding olive oil, lemons, oranges, and bergamot.”
